If we receive your written notice to cancel prior to check-in date, there will be a cancellation charge of NZD$50 per room booked. If written notice to cancel is received within 48 hours of check-in or there is no receipt of written notice to cancel, this will be considered a NO SHOW and in either instance there will be 100% of the total invoice charged - i.e. no refund. In the event the deposit is waived, credit cards given as security will be debited in accordance with this policy.
Keys will be available at reception. If you anticipate arriving after 9:30pm please call 03 315 7554 in advance to advise your expected time of arrival.
Availability of Breakfast
Breakfast is complimentary for Lodge Guests between 8.00am - 9.15am daily (the availability may be for longer depending on season).
To secure your reservation, a deposit is required within 7 days. Equal to one nights tariff and is deducted from the balance due. Waived only in event credit card is given at time of reservation for security - Please note: Cancellation policies apply in every instance.
Keys are to be returned to Reception by 10.00am on the day of your departure. A 'Non Return' Fee of $25 will be debited to credit card provided as security in the event keys are lost or not returned.
The kitchen, dining and lounge facilities are for your enjoyment, however we do ask that you leave these rooms as you would expect to find them on arrival. Groups will be charged for additional cleaning that may be required at the discretion of management, 'as incurred' basis.
Pool Towels for Hire
Additional towels are available for visits to the thermal pools. Enquire at Reception. There is no charge for these, although we do expect them to be returned.
Please make cheques payable to Drifters Inn marking the reservation ID on the reverse of the cheque. Post to Drifters Inn, PO Box 3, Hanmer Springs. 7360. Credit Card payments are accepted by telephone on 03 315 7554. Before departure, balances can be paid at Reception.
Allocation of Studios May Vary
From time to time it is necessary for us to make changes in the room we have allocated, this will in all instances be to either a comparable or higher standard than that which you were originally allocated. You may not receive notice prior to arrival. Please ensure we are notified if you must be downstairs.
